No. You're in the right place. :sqcool: :sqerr:
Wow, thanks for the overwhelming response.
I actually had little time last night to spend onsite as I've been working stupid hours at my dayjob and as such, only had time to create one topic and butcher another with two responses (that I think were moderated) and then succumb fully to my Nyquil geltabs.

He's worse/better than any balrog! Great to see ya here Alt...I mean Duke! You know all those times we have to bite our tongues elsewhere? Not here! lol!

What if you especially enjoy biting your tongue? Is that allowed?
ewomack
27-11-2009, 09:08 AM
You can only bite the tongues of others. I think the rules state that pretty clearly.
Cryren8972
27-11-2009, 09:19 AM
Oh...
well then can I ask someone to bite mine for me? That would be a new experience, kind of like using someone else's hand...

Hi,
Speaking of biting your tongue.
*I'm biting mine right now*
Sami
You can bite the tip of your tongue when your throat is so dry that you can't swallow and there's no liquid handy, just do it as hard as you can stand it for about 20 seconds or so and when you release it, saliva glands will start secreting and you'll have something to swallow. I learned that from when I used to shoot pharmaceutical speed, being cranked out makes your throat dry.
Cryren8972
27-11-2009, 11:41 AM
I'll keep that in mind if I ever shoot speed.
Thanks Atom!
Once again, you're here to educate!

Thanks Atom!
Once again, you're here to educate! You do not need to shoot speed to have a dry throat.

More words of wisdom..
do you have any more?
Seriously, Cry, that saliva trick is a good one to know, it really can be useful, I've used it many times when liquid wasn't handy for many dry throats that were caused by things other than speed. I was just saying that that is how I learned the trick.
The dry throat that occurs from being cranked out is rather extreme.
I somehow get the feeling that you are not happy with me because I've not gotten back to you in PM, but I intend to. I'm just very slow sometimes, Cry.

Atom, I'm not being mean, am I?
I was kidding around with you....
I have better ways to moisten my throat. Water is my first choice. However, if I ever find myself in the position to have an extremely parched throat and no water, your trick will prove useful.

I clearly said that this was for those times when you don't have liquid available, and yes, I do think that you are being mean, I just am not sure why and all I can think of is that it's because I didn't get back to you in PM, but you must remember my phobia. Let's not forget about that. lol
I've still to think up the most accurate name for the phobia. The existing names are all so boring. I need an original name for mine. lol

Yes sir.
I would offer a hug, but you have that phobia thingy...
I suppose that I shouldn't even have mentioned how I learned that saliva trick, but it's the truth.
Cryren8972
27-11-2009, 12:44 PM
It's a very good trick too Atom. I'm going to practice now...
Yes sir.
I would offer a hug, but you have that phobia thingy...Well I assure you that the phobia would suddenly disappear were it in person. ; )
It's a very good trick too Atom. I'm going to practice now...Yeah check it out, Cry, it really works well.

But what if it didn't?
:sqembarrassed: < ~~~ that would then be you. Lol!
But what if it didn't?
:sqembarrassed: < ~~~ that would then be you. Lol!Well if it didn't then I suspect you'd have to be pretty grotesque looking. lol
BTW, that tongue biting trick is really handy for when you're riding in a vehicle, let's say, and your throat is dry but you need to swallow a couple of pills, Ibuprofen or whatever, but you have nothing to drink with you.

It works. Nice trick Atom!

I cannot confirm because I do not have a dry throat nor do I have any pharmaceutical speed. Sometimes nature doesn't answer your calls.
You don't need to have a dry throat to try it, doing it should just add more saliva than what's already there.
It's when the saliva turns red that you probably need to start thinking about backing off on the pressure a bit. lol

Hugaphobia?
Muddy
29-11-2009, 03:18 AM
Oh, add "Spit Conjurer" to the title list!
Hugaphobia?Yes. I think I have that, I'm always embarrassed by hugging, even members of my bio family. Hugging isn't something I've engaged in as a rule, I usually avoid it at most all costs.
Oh, add "Spit Conjurer" to the title list!Yes that's right, and how many other SC's do you know? None right? There ya go. Do drugs, kids, you find cool stuff out.
Like I said I probably should not have even mentioned where I learned it.
Thank god doctors stopped prescribing that good pharma crank, now that was some addictive stuff. They stopped giving it out back in the 80's.
From what I understand, the crankers today do bathtub meth which is primarily the same thing.
Ah yes.. someone's intro thread, very good then..
welcome, Duke. lol
