We had a thread where we were making up possible meanings for the acronym but for the life of me I can't remember what it was called.

Thanks Zap. My OCD was gonna force me to slog through and find that regardless of my three threads a day limit this computer is imposing on me. I knew Tim had started it.

PC got a virus?

Hi,

It's called BTWIMHO virus.

It attaches itself to the top 5 posters at the forum and causes the computer to be slow on this forum only.

That way the rest of of can catch up in post count.

LOL

PC got a virus?

For some reason, Muddy's computer has a real problem with this forum.
It takes him minutes between page loads.
Other websites seem to be OK.
His computer has other issues, though.

It takes him minutes between page loads. It sometimes does for me as well, and especially lately.

Other websites seem to be OK.That I'll remember to check next time it happens, but I think that the same applies here.

His computer has other issues, though.Nothing like a little complexity thrown into the equation. lol

It does for you too???

Are you using FF or IE?
And what happens if you switch when it's happening?

I've been on when Muddy is having trouble and it's perfectly fine for me.
I'm using IE and he's using FF.
So maybe FF is the issue.

I can't imagine that it does. I've run every test/scan/cleanup I can. AdAware, Avast!, Disk Cleanup, Defrag, Advanced Registry Optimizer, made sure all updates are current.

I should clarify that this site is the only one in which the problem is slowness, I also have a problem with Quickbooks in that I can't even open the app. Thought I had it fixed, but no.

As a last resort I'm going to submit a HiJackThis report to a forum for analysis once I find the right forum.

I just downloaded the new ad-aware and it found this trojan; Win32.TrojanSpy.Banker

..that probably was not helping. lol

Something unusual happened when I rebooted after downloading and scanning with ad-aware, a blue screen came up during reboot and said that it detected a file and was deleting it, and I think it named my ftp client. that's weird, I haven't seen that happen before. Also, when I came to this site, I was logged out and had to log back in whereas generally I'm remembered and don't have to.

Oh right, contractions or conjunctions or w/e you call those little connective tissues are not allowed. Well to hell with it then I can't think of anything. I think we should be allowed subjugate letters. Where in the heck I ever came up with that one is beyond me, it just sounded good, subjugate, I mean what's not to like? lol
