School starts here on the Tuesday after Labour Day.

Officially Sept 3rd for primary schools in England.

For us, it works out to September 8th this year, the latest possible date.
Labour Day is always the first Monday.

Normal school starts on the 31st of Aug. and For my youngest son it starts on the 2nd. He is just starting school and they always start a few days later for the newbies so that the 2nd and 3rgraders have a chance to make up a little play or song for the 1st graders. Is really cute. I will see if I can get the video that I plan on making put up so that you can look. IF you want.
