If it's enacted but easy to circumvent as was mentioned, then that's what will happen eventually, people will just end up going around it.
"Most Australians acknowledge that there is some internet material which is not acceptable in any civilised society," he (senator Conroy) said.
I wonder if that is actually true.
Is there a place where people can submit website URLs to be blacklisted?
I'm thinking a campaign with people around the world is in order.
Like, have everyone submit all the government websites as sites they want banned.
Start submitting the websites of legitimate corporations too.
Then on to the websites of all the Australian universities and colleges if they haven't gotten the message by then.
I watched an interesting but disturbing PBS documentary last night about the NSA that is definitely worth checking out.
