Just got back from Christy's wedding last night.
Everyone had a good time.
She was a beautiful bride. The groom is a nice guy.

Quite happy for them!

It was a long drive, though. 9 Hours by car. :sqeek:

Here are a few pictures we took.

This is the wedding cake my wife made.
The cake fell apart on the way down after 8 hours in the car.
My wife spent most of the day Saturday, repairing the cake, just in time for the main event.

Overzealous groom. Let the fun begin.
Save it for the honeymoon, guys.

Just looking at that cake is raising my blood sugar levels. Your wife is very talented Zap. I particularly like where the bride on the cake has her hand. That seems most appropriate.

Christy looks gorgeous in that dress. And you look quite sexy too in that pin stripe :sqwink:

Thanks Dude.
That wedding cake topper was Christy's choice. She provided it.
The entire rest of the cake and decorations are edible.

I'm quite proud of my wife's abilities. She does a great job on all of her cakes.

Great pics, Zap, looks like Christy has a smile frozen on her face, things like weddings can do that you know. I'm happy for them, hubby looks like a cool guy. I wish them all the best. That last pic is great, but they're all good. Too bad about the cake but I must say, your wife made one heck of a cool looking cake, I like it just the way it is.

Thanks Dude.

Christy wanted the Topsy Turvy themed cake, done in her wedding colours so that's what she got.
Can't argue with the bride, ya know. :sqlaugh:

That's like... bad luck... or 50 lashes or something. :sqerr:

Yeah, Keith does look like a cool guy (if one can go by looks). Like I said at the "other place" that IS a cool cake! I dig the Suessesque look!

Will you stop using words I can't even look up. Heck even google shrugged its shoulders and said, "Beats me buddy". It's not as though I'm a Greek god or something :sqconfused:

That cake is a phantasmal Rube Goldberg Lewis Carrol Tim Burton wallop that I will never forget... I may just get a divorce so I can hire your wife to make a cake for my next wedding...

Naw, I lived in Canada before, remember? Plus I grew up in Alaska. Which is basically Canada.

I have one of those Canadian health care cards. Good for life. I called a while back to see if it was still active and it is. Don't know what I can get out of it though...

I think you can trade it in for 2 polar bears and a case of Canadian beer.

Actually I think it was just where anyone (or maybe just backroom folks) could read it.

Can I just get three cases of beer and skip the bears?
