Would you get out of your car and grab some cash or would you just keep driving?

Man Tosses Cash Onto Los Angeles-area Freeway - CBS News (http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2009/08/17/ap/strange/main5247266.shtml)

California authorities say a man caused a traffic jam when he threw money onto a Los Angeles-area freeway and people dashed into the lanes to grab the cash.

I wouldn't risk my life for money. Now if the guy was handing out cake for free, well that's another matter :sqwink:

Same here. I'd skip the cake too. Considering that even if the bills were $1,000 each (I didn't read the article yet), the risk of scrambling around in the middle of a freeway dodging cars would outweigh the amount of money that one would likely net.

I wouldn't get out, but then again, if there is ALREADY a traffic jam... and the cars aren't going anywhere...why not? Don't you know that there is coke on the bills?!

Yeah. The traffic jam is already there and you're stuck in it.
Time is money. :sqlaugh:

Now look at them yo-yo's, that's the way you do it..

Money for nothin' and your chicks for free.

I suppose it would depend on the denominations visible, coupled with whether or not I needed some money at the time.

I understand that in reality it would depend on many more factors, but I will for the sake of sanity consider it non-reality at this time as it hasn't happened to me.

Police are asking people to return the money? Now isn't that nice of them.

Warm the car up, honey, I just read that the police want us to return that 37 dollars we picked up, I'll call the sitter.

Warming the car up'll cost another $37, let alone the sitter.
