Civilisation would most likely be finished in the event of a zombie outbreak, claim Canadian mathematicians who have calculated the possible devastation caused by an attack by the fictional monsters


Using models developed to calculate the effects of more plausible pandemics, the team from the University of Ottawa have discovered that unless man struck back quickly and aggressively then they would be doomed.

The scientific paper, which is published in a book “Infectious Diseases Modelling Research Progress”, looks at an attack by the undead creatures, who infect the living with a bite.

Laugh if you must, but I have "a plan" that would cover zombification of the human race, among other things.
Would never know if it would be successful until tested, of course.
But if some disease (which, I guess, would include zombification) were to threaten us, I'm not going to just lay down and die (or not die, in this case).

Did I log off? Must have been automatic. I never log off intentionally. I did have to go get my mower though. 2 hour drive each way, plus some shopping while in the "big town".

What I usually do is shut down during sleep only, and of course when I shut down, the tab is closed by the PC, but otherwise, I make sure it's always open unless I leave to go somewhere for an extended period of time, in which case I'll shut down temporarily.
