View Full Version : Wierd Issues Of Late
We've had some really wierd issues with certain threads in the forum over the past couple of days.
Once again, Big Dan has stepped up and figured out what the hell was going on and remedied the situation.
Thanks Dan.
And on that note, if anyone discovers any other strange issues with the forum, please let me know.
Thanks again, everyone, for hanging out here.

The last poster wins thread is one of them I would bet...
Sometimes when I clicked it, I just got a white page... I thought it was just my crappy dialup...

I deleted one post of yours Sami, along with one of mine.
It was in the funny pictures thread.
That was one of the threads causing issues.
Viewing pages 1-16, no problem. Pages 17 and beyond... for get it.
There was only one post in that thread after the problems started and it was yours. Sorry.
I posted a test post in it and then deleted them both.

Hi,
I did not mean to cause a problem with a pic:sqembarrassed:
Sorry about that.
Thanks
Dan

It wasn't you or your pic, Sami.
It was something completely different, but in the course of troubleshooting, I wanted to delete the last post from one of the troublesome threads. Just happened to be your last post in that particular thread.

Thanks again, everyone, for hanging out here.Zap, you've misspelled weird, and speaking of which I find this thread title somewhat magnetic for some strange reason. Anyway, thank you, Dan, and I've only noticed one strange issue in this forum so far but I don't want to name names. I shall, however, give you a hint, it begins with an a and ends with an m.
lol
I'm somehow suddenly reminded of the time I ran into the back of a moving pickup truck on my bicycle as he touched his brake, don't ask me why. I guess I was a little too close and he didn't like that. lol

Pedal bike?
Yeah, I was about 12 y/o. Bent the front rim all up. I went flying over the handle bars. I tumbled into the fall, kinda just accepted what was happening I guess, not much time to try to do anything anyway, I don't recall getting any injury from that little lesson so I figure I was lucky.
I can't believe I came out of that one unscathed, we were going downhill, good thing we were only going about 15 or 20 mph, lol.

He must have been a real strange duck for 1. going that slow and 2. trying to freak out a 12 year old on a bike...
Let me take this prime opportunity to say he was a dink!
He was an old guy, probably about the age I am now. lol
He was a slow driver. I'm sure he tapped the brake purposely because I remember him looking into the rear-view mirror at me. Like I say though, I came up too close to the back of the vehicle too.
