I was quite surprised to hear that 45 Americans have sort asylum in Britain, between 2004 and 2008. Even more surprising was that Canadians would want asylum over here. :sqconfused:

Admittedly this was during the last Bush Administration, which might explain the Americans I guess.
Don't blame the Poms not accepting Yanks... hence the Aussies call the yanks Septic Tank, the Pom's don't want any shit from them :D
Americans want the NHS benefits and there are some Canadians who are sick of the snow. LOL!

I'm pretty happy living here in America but would love to live abroad one day. I guess I have a lot of years left to do so :P

I'm all for choice, if they are unsatisfied with the health care in the USA and are willing to pay, why not! :sqwink:

Sometimes I wonder if you know when I'm kidding with you at all
Sometimes I don't, but I think mostly I do, and I'm thinking that most of the times that I don't are very likely solely my own fault.
Is it proper to put two ly's together like that? i.e. likely solely.
lol
I'd considered using an apostrophe between the two but apparently decided against it at the last moment.
lol

I suspect it is properly, perfectly permissible.
Ok thanks, Strongy. Something tells me that I probably could have chosen better grammar though. lol
