View Full Version : Posting Guidelines For The Politics And Debate Section

On many boards, the politics and debate section can get way out of hand.
Let's not allow that to happen here.

So with that in mind, please use common sense when posting and follow a few simple rules.

1. Treat others as you would like to be treated.
We all can say things in the heat of the moment, but before you hit the submit button on your post, try to put yourself in the other person's shoes.
2. Do not disrespect our members.
That includes insults, name calling and a whole lot of other bad behaviours.
3. Enter at your own risk.
Other people are going to have opinions that are very different from your own. They still deserve your respect.
4. Separate fact from opinion.
If you are stating your opinion, represent it as such. If you are stating facts, try to post links to sources to back them up.
5. Have fun.
The idea, here, is to share ideas and learn from the thoughts of others. If it's not enjoyable, you should probably stay out of the political and debate forums altogether.
