Great talk but found his body language and colour choice a little disturbing.

The red and black is great for the TED logo, but on a speaker sends warning bells for some reason like the redback (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/6/6a/Red_back_underside.jpg)! That coupled with the idea that his moustache is a cheap disguise made me wary, but I would still sign up for a trial just to see how long I could be put into hypersleep for.

It seems like the thing David Blaine would do, not for entertainment, but pushing the boundaries of his own body.

Never noticed the clock before in any of the TED talks. Suppose they have to have a way of judging when their time is up.

I don't know that I'd willing try this thing at this stage, it is still very experimental :sqwink:

But if it was a matter of life or death and it would keep me alive long enough that I could be treated then why would I or anyone else object.

Pretty amazing stuff! Figures that DARPA would have their mitts in it.
