'Mad professor' becomes YouTube hero with explosive science videos.
A mild-mannered British chemistry professor has become a transatlantic YouTube star – by blowing up elements in experiments deemed too dangerous for schools.
Videos starring Professor Martyn Poliakoff, whose wild grey hair and encyclopedic knowledge have drawn comparison with Albert Einstein, have now been viewed more than six million times on the video-sharing site.

I've see a few of these and I can see why schools wouldn't want you doing those experiments.
