Testing times for Wikipedia after doctor posts secrets of the Rorschach inkblots

http://www.guardian.co.uk/science/2009/jul/29/rorschach-answers-wikipedia

So the theory goes, a guy off to visit his psychologist will mug up on the meaning of the inkblots first, so as to hide any incriminating thoughts.

The thought of psychologists up in arms is a little amusing don't you think. I mean what can they do, threaten to write you a prescription? :)

Why would someone try to "pass" the test?
What's the difference if I see a unicorn or the planet Mars?

I guess I'd have to believe in the validity of the tests in order to think that they mean anything.

What is seen is indicative of certain psychological disorders. Thus if you thought you suffered from a disorder and had to visit a psychologist, (I don't know why, perhaps a court order), then you might want to hide the fact by faking the answers.

That kind of reminds me of the movie series "Final Destination". Where the group of kids just make it off the plane before it crashes and then one after the other die from a different accident.

OOPS this was ment for the other post about the plane crash lady.

I took one of those tests once. After everything they showed me I just kept saying it reminded me of breasts. They ended up writing me a letter of recommendation for a job at KFC.

Do you have to be crazy to take a test?

You have to be crazy to take a testicle, but not a test.

The best thing to say when a psychiatrist shows you an inkblot is "I see myself kicking orphaned bunnies off of cliffs onto landmines." That will get you in and out really quick.

Kicking? Man, that's just wrong. Use a 9 iron at least.

Don’t you know that using 9 iron is a cruel and unusual punishment?
It would be better if we just send them in the space to look for Layka.

Well I guess they'll have to create new blots and start all over. It really wouldn't take that long I don't believe, to come to similar conclusions from the new collection of data.

I think so too. The blots are not all that different from each other.
Who's standards are they based upon anyways? The "sane" doctors?

Psychologists will look up wikipedia and shout delete them, and I'll whisper "no!" :sqcool:
