Oddly, I've been free ever since I got out of prison in 1977. :sqlaugh:

At least the semblance of :sqwink:

I'm not afraid any more, but I'm not naive, either. It's only going to get worse.

The guy in the video is right, though.
If we organize, we can not be stopped.
There are a hell of a lot more of "us" than "them".
We just need to organize.

I have been watching a lot of his videos... http://www.youtube.com/user/cveitch
For the most part I agree with what he says and does. There have been a couple of instances where I believe he went a tad too far and his actions could have been mistaken for inciting.

I am however very glad we have people like him to are willing to stand up and risk abuse for the message.

Them, us, we, hmm...

I think that is part of the problem; there is only us, they and them are just part of us. We are far more complicated than many imagine, we are the multi-headed hydra that is set to rend the world. Take Europeans and North Americans for instance, on the outside you would think we have much in common, but increasingly I think we are diametrically opposed politically.

In olden times when a group outgrew it's village, they could move away and try to set up elsewhere. That in essence is what happened in America. But today all the world's territories are taken, so those that outgrow their neighbours have no choice but to stay and fight. The only solution is to reach for the stars and the unexplored territories beyond.

We need to leave the fools behind. Perhaps when they see our backs, they'll realise what they have lost and follow.

I'm with Hawkins, we need to get off this ball of dirt. And damn soon if you ask me.

I'd say re-introduce cannibalism. Eat the motherfuckers, this solves a few problems at once.

And I hear they taste like chicken. :armycute:

Well, someone has to. He was also held detained at the G20 summit in Toronto for over 50 hours IIRC.

I am however very glad we have people like him to are willing to stand up and risk abuse for the message.

I'm amazed by the energy people like Charlie Veitch have. Mind you that's a very good thing, as politicians also seem to have lots of energy.

Reminds me of George Carlin on children:

Kids are like any other group of people: a few winners...a whole lot of losers

Here he is waxing lyrical on our similarities:

Charley Vietch and the love police have quit.

A couple of weeks ago Charley posted a video explaining why he quit, it came down to him getting depressed fighting the man and needing to do something else with his life that doesn't bring him down emotionally. The other guy that started it before Charley joined in has quit earlier, protesting takes more of a person than just time and energy.

At least we have their video's for future reference.

You guys find some great videos on the subject by people who sound like they have their heads in the right place. Some people who discuss the subject are easily discredited by going too far, like Alex Jones.

I haven't been into this stuff in a while.

I banned that tool Alex Jones from my own browser a long time ago, his voice makes me cringe.

For my news I go to serious places, not to freak shows. :sqwink:

Globalresearch.ca is a pretty solid online source for political analyses, as is voltaire network, to name two. On video I can appreciate the real news network.

Alex Jones trick is to take a serious subject that should be investigated and is mentioned by someone else and hijack it and make it look like it is a conspiracy-nutters-idea, just by being himself.
