I'd rather not if that's all the same, I'm giving up sport for the new millennium. (That damn Olympics in London is coming up and I'm sick to death about it). I find it's a great time saver. :sqcool:

Just imagine how much better you will feel after not objecting your mind to it.... free and clear! Sport is for the devil! :3unsure:

I could not agree more... I'm one of the few Americans I know who intentionally has not seen a Super Bowl in more than a decade...

Well I wouldn't go so far as to call Sportacus the devil, but he does get on my nerves!

I think it has turned into something like that...

This could be Super Bowl footage from a few years ago...

Not watching the Super Bowl in over ten years is just unamerican, I watch it if only for the commercials! LOL

The announcer said "This is a great day for America!"

How embarrassing.

I'm a little afraid to watch, people puking tends to make me want to puke. There ain't any puking is there, I'm trusting you people now, no virtual leg pulling please!?!

Muddy

No actual puking in that vid but the second place guy lost a mouthful at the end.

I think for me sport stopped being sport when people started worrying more about how much they would earn per game rather than the sportsman ship of it all.

For me sports never stopped, I've always had hobbies that are sports at the same time and at age 52 I have the benefits of an active lifestyle.

Having said that, I am not such a sport watcher, apart from the odd world championship soccer when the Dutch team plays, and women gymnastics at the Olympics.

Strangely enough Kabaddi (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kabaddi) was a sport(?) I really used to like watching on Channel 4.
