Don't mind me and my ESL. By reading enough of my posts, I guarantee that your english will get worse or I will refund 100% of the time you spent reading my posts.
I noticed the Marshmallow but couldn't do anything about it. Well, I could have but didn't want to edit the link they gave me by default.

You only misspelled "cruelty". lol!

I wrote it crualty because it is spelled "cruel" in French.
Oh wait, that doesn't make sense.
Muddy

Aha! You can't blame that one on ESL!
julien_simon
21-09-2009, 01:09 PM
well, I spelled it how I pronounce it in English. In french, cruel is pronounced: "Crew L"
in English, "Crew All"
I thought that to make that "All" sound, I needed an A.
anyway....

I'd like to talk a little bit about nasal spray right now if I could. It appears to me that the substance is evil.

Coke with ice cubes, no.
Coke plain, yes.
Now must talk to a client about his website.
He wants me to review.

That's what makes Atom such a formidable debater. What does "is" mean?
I'm not sure how to interpret that question. Did you by any chance mean "what it is?"
Muddy
22-09-2009, 01:19 PM
I meant it as a reference to Clinton's famous dissection. The difference in meaning between two words or the contextual reference used for one word can mean all the difference in a debate. Or any conversation for that matter.

You would be logically correct in your assumption.
But remember Spock was half human and during the time of Pon farr could be quite irrational. (Amock Time (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amok_Time_(TOS_episode)))

But remember Spock was half human and during the time of Pon farr could be quite irrational. (Amock Time (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amok_Time_(TOS_episode)))Yes I remember that, one of the more shocking episodes of the series. I thought that Leo played it rather well though.

Leo was a consummate professional and very devious at the end.
Spock: Would you beam down to the planet's surface and stand with me? There is a brief ceremony.
James T. Kirk: Is it permitted?
Spock: It is my right. By tradition, the male is accompanied by his closest friends.
James T. Kirk: Thank you, Mr. Spock.
Spock: I also request Dr. McCoy accompany me.
Leonard McCoy: I shall be honored, sir.
I just discovered Wiki Quote (http://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Star_Trek:_The_Original_Series#Amok_Time), seems fun.
Leo was a consummate professional and very devious at the end. (...)I wonder if Spock and Bones ever got mixed up on the set because they had the same forenames.
I don't recall Bones ever being addressed by his stage forename. I can't recall if he fell in love on the show or not. That may be a case where he may have been called Leonard I suppose.

That's a good question. Nimoy must be in his eighties now, I wonder if he could remember that far back to answer that question. He is mainly into taking nude pictures these days I hear.
Of course DeForest Kelley died some time ago now so asking him might not reveal much.

I have a vague recollection of Bones having a romantic dalliance in an episode, but no details come to mind at the moment. It was usually Kirk that got the girl. It must have been written into his contract or something.

Real Trekkies we're not I guess. A real Trekkie wouldn't need to ask either of them. Heh, that kinda reminds me of that KISS fan Family Guy episode where two KISS fans, one being Peter Griffin, were throwing down KISS facts in alternate and rapid succession. lol
oops, I quoted the wrong post ^, sorry, Strongy.
