Now I'm confused. Apparently tongue slicing has all sorts of meanings....
guess I'll have to be patient and wait to see what this particular tongue slicing definition entails.

Floating art movies?? Are those movies about floating art? Or is floating something that you do with the art movies? :sqwink:

And post a picture of the tongue already!

Don't try this at home (do as I say not as I do).

Photobucket was misbehaving and wouldn't let me upload a newer closer pic.
Also need 25posts before I can embed images.

Floating art movies?? Are those movies about floating art? Or is floating something that you do with the art movies? :sqwink:
Some float tanks have screens in them I've heard but the one I visit doesn't. All 3 at once would be difficult, but you can do artful thinking while floating.

You like to ride in parades?
Never had the opportunity.

You like to imbibe at soda fountains?
That sounds very pleasant.

Every time I see that pic, Dude, I feel a sharp fantom pain at the tip of my own tongue.

Halo

Can you move the two tips independently?

A little bit, but just out of sight behind my top lip, the tongue has been re-pierced. A larger stud will be put it to stretch it slightly then it needs to be sliced back another centimetre or so. This will probably give more movement to each side.
Something to keep me busy I suppose. :3smile:

and post more... painful... pictures...
I've got some left thumb images that'll keep till much later.

I take it you haven't lost any sensation or taste buds? Can I ask the obvious question, why? Is it like an extreme form of piercing?

It seems pretty amazing to me, eating must be weird cos the tongue is an integral part of the whole process.

It seems pretty amazing to me, eating must be weird cos the tongue is an integral part of the whole process.

Sensation is different at first, instead of feeling it's like 2 tongues, it feels more like pushing 1 tongue through a small hole. Kind of like crossing your index and ring finger on one hand and then stroking your nose. The brain just takes a little while to adjust to normal.

Why? Who knows? An idea that just resurfaced every couple of years so it was carefully considered. Maybe it's because I'm drawn to comic-booky things, but a couple of friends were slightly worried that it was self harming.

The tongue piercing I'm not too fond of - just a means to an end. It can be damaging to your teeth if you accidentally bite down on it. Most of the time I forget about it though but it's fun to play around with.
