Then check out David Attenborough's favourite moments (http://www.bbc.co.uk/nature/collections/p0048522).

The site that these clips are from is called Wildlife Finder (http://www.bbc.co.uk/wildlifefinder/). It is one of the BBC's websites and is devoted to natural history with clips from the last 30 years. Well worth a gander. Heck bookmark it, cos if you are like me you'll probably want to go back.

There are some 390 animals to choose from apparently, I haven't looked at all of them yet though. Give me a chance.

Attenborough is amazing. Wildlife on One was essential viewing growing up.

Stephen Fry is quite different :sqeek:

I saw that Stephen Fry program the other night. That Kakapo was hilarious. I guess if it hadn't been reared by hand it wouldn't have been so trusting of humans.

It was reared by hand? I was wondering why he was OK just hanging out with the people...

Yeah! Apparently it thinks it is human. If you get to see the show it is well worth it.

He apparently feels himself human enough to try to mate with them. I have a bird like that actually...he looks deep into my eyes and tries to mate with my hand.
Silly bird, hands are for...

Well, time for bed I guess. I'll leave you birds to flap about on your hands.

^ Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Attenborough) says he is currently 83. I wonder if there is a place he hasn't been on this planet?

I want to know what happened to the frog at the end.
Damn. Just when it was getting exciting.

The plant dept of the store I used to work in sometimes got a delivery of flytraps, but they usually all died. Customers loved to stick their fingers in the trap and watch it close. The plants never caught any flied and tended to die. :3sad:

I was wondering that too about the frog. The music was thrilling also!
