Another great discovery, plants actually communicate (via chemicals) and corporate with their siblings;

Ps. We should have a seperate "sciences" forum, there's so much fascinating stuff being discovered nowadays and as politics and entertainment and such have their own forum I suggest we have one for science as well, I could go totally wild in there <insert image of Ferre going totally wild here>.

agreed with the science suggestions!

I've seen a movie. not sure if it's the same one (at work - will watch later) but it's amazing.

does this one has giraffe eating trees and the trees basically kill themselves?

All right guys. The new Sciences forum is created.
I also went through the general forums and moved over threads that I thought should fit in here.

If you guys notice more threads that belong in here or threads that are in here but don't belong, just let me know. Link to them and I'll move them over too.

Perhaps this one: The beaver - BTWIMHO Chat Forums (http://www.btwimho.com/showthread.php?t=363&highlight=beaver)

sometimes, it feels like the japanese stuff thread belongs to science.

Apparently sciences dwell in an interested audience around here. :peace:

moving beavers is not a science, it's an art.

Well I think that this is just another clear cut case of natural selection favoring racism.

Ok that was a joke, kids.

Anyway.. I just finished watching The Botany Of Desire on PBS, it was pretty good. I'm currently watching a lecture by the same guy, Michael Pollan, which is also rather interesting, I'm only half way through it at the moment.
