I don't understand cruelty like this either. This case just popped back up on Facebook, and it just makes me sad. There are child abuse cases that make me sick to my stomach. What's wrong with people?

I guess I'm just one of those people that has a difficult time understanding any kind of suffering. Defenseless creatures get to me the most though.

I haven't heard of a dog not eating due to emotional reasons before. Something doesn't add up there.

especially since his stomach was full of plant life. He WAS eating...anything he could. Poor dog. :sqfrown:

The Animal Rescue League of Boston Law Enforcement Officer said; "I told Mr. Carneiro that it was unlikely that the dog would die from not eating due to separation anxiety." He said it was unlikely and I said I've not even heard of it before.
