I I was searching the other day for a way to block adsense... I didn't even know if it was possible but I found a Firefox addon that does just that. It also block a multitude of other ads as well...

Adblock (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addons/versions/1865#version-1.1.1)

To paraphrase Ronald McDonald... "Ba da da da da, I'm lovin' it"

Id agree with that! I might add that one for real life would be just as sweet considering some of the stupidity I have been exposed to as of late... (Like my son letting a freaking new driver practice with his car that I just helped him buy and ended up wrapped around a GOD DAMN POLE) - I am so pissed off I could say FUCK!

You might want to consider to move to Finland; Broadband access is a right, not a privilege. (http://news.cnet.com/8301-17939_109-10374831-2.html#cnet)

Ya know what???

I was so damn frustrated with him that I didn't even bother. This is sort of round two in the vehicle saga with that kid. I bought him another car a couple of years ago and it turned into a total disaster. $4000 for the car, $3000 in transmission repairs because he was too damn stubborn to keep an eye on his fluids, and several smaller repairs because of his driving habits.

This car was actually only $2000 all together but it was in awesome shape. The previous owner really took great care of it and it was all ready for winter.

I just wish he would grow up and develop some real world sense otherwise I just do not know what will happen to him.

Just try to impart wisdom on a 20 year old... I dare ya!

Maybe you should introduce him to whatshisname over there. How old was/is he, 19 I think? He knows everything. He can help your son.

People grow up fast when they have to depend on themselves and they know there is no safety net. A couple of disasters and they get sensible real quick.

Some can't learn from others, they need to learn from their own mistakes AND suffer the consequences.

iowadawg

Retired but no social security.
The government hates people like me and will not let me collect.

Just a shade older than 55...

Did I tell you we got ten grandkids?
Oldest one, granddaughter, is married.
But no greats yet, though I keep hinting to her and her husband.

Atom

Yeah I remember you mentioning all the grand kids so I figured you were likely older than me. My beard and mustache is the only hair that's turned gray yet, my dad was a late bloomer on the scalp gray, god I can remember him having black hair well past 60, mine is brown though but I may have that gene just the same, I guess I'll find out if I live long enough lol.

iowadawg

Why is it women can dye their hair, like my wife does.
But men can't?
Wife tells me, you are grey, stay grey, but I will stay blonde forever.

Atom
20-10-2009, 12:12 AM
My neighbor dies his lol. But he actually does look younger when he does, he's only 39 and his hair is almost completely gray and he doesn't like that.

Atom

Actually I remember my dad still had all black hair at age 72 now that I think about it.

ABP is the only reason why I use Firefox full time and not Chrome. I'm not against ads as heck that's how I run my sites, I whitelist most sites I visit regularlly. I'm just against the in your face ads like they have on news sites.. It's the big gigantic flashy-blinking ads that annoy the crap out of me. How am I supposed to read with those wrapped around every paragraph?

iowadawg

Dan must be the youngest since he actually stayed on topic.
Meaning he aint old enought to stray....
