Ah, thanks Halo. That one is much better quality than the one we've been throwing around here.

Yeah she's been rode hard and put away wet alright.

Atom
31-10-2009, 01:46 AM
Yes I know I could have said put up wet but I had to make a decision.

I can see why you made the comparison to The Cars too. Very definite Ric Ocasek guitar sound in there.

Atom
31-10-2009, 01:48 AM
Yeah mainly for the techno aspect.

Muddy
31-10-2009, 01:50 AM
Yeah, actually there's more Greg Hawkes keyboard sound...only a little guitar.

Halo, the video quality on the first one you posted was great!

Those brief sounds that are parts of words are important, as are the off breaks, good stuff, nicely put together too I think.

Atom
31-10-2009, 01:57 AM
Even though they're brief, the pitch and timing has to be exactly right or they'll sound off.

Atom
31-10-2009, 01:59 AM
Like I think that one is just eee, that's it, but the pitch must be right or it'll stick out like a sore thumb, not actually an easy thing to do.

You could always watch a spoof version. Tonight's gonna be a profile pic:

Ah, thanks Halo. That one is much better quality than the one we've been throwing around here.
I had to change it a couple of times as (for me) it said 'embedding disabled by request' or words to that effect, so put up just the song:

Have you heard their BOOM BOOM POW song?
I think you'd like it too....

I posted that somewhere around here for him...

That's the problem with threads taking off in various directions! Can't remember where anything is! As anal as I am, it's remarkable that I'm coping, let alone joining in the fray.

Did he like it? Do you recall?

Muddy

He did like it. But we were searching for the one he'd heard so we moved on.
