The new blue light district! =)

This made me think of something funny we here in Ⓐmsterdam laugh our heads off all the time.

It is namely so that at the red light district some of the windows have blue lights, this is a code to make a distinction between the real girls and the transformers because most of those transformers are not very obvious, they often look like any other girl when you pass by those windows.

Now here comes the joke; most tourists do not know this and we are not telling them either. Every weekend Ⓐmsterdam is swarmed with drunken Brits who piss in our doorways, drop their pants every occasion they get (take) and are loud and annoying, often fighting amongst each other too.

It's those guys that often end up coming out of those blue light windows and still have no clue.

I was confused for a moment, and then looked up blue lights and transformers (wasn't sure what you were referring to when you mentioned this term)
I'm laughing hysterically myself! :sqlaugh:

Zap, I hope you knew this!

I didn't until today and, even after a trip to Amsterdam, it's not an issue for me. :sqwink:
