I remember when I was a SM at the big V, people would start threads with all upper case titles and I'd be right there to lower case them, that was kinda fun. lol

I haven't heard from him either but his sister is a FB friend and she says he's doing ok.

I've been there only a couple of times to read some stuff .. I've never posted there before.

Okay, I came back to find out I could not log in as iowadawg as it would not take a password.
And since I changed email address, useless to ask for a new password.
So, Zap or someone else?
Could I get the original iowadawg back?
And not this iowadawg2?

Quick catch up you all....
We are great grandparents!

Yes but just barely, the damned thing is so small. Is that a Knickerbocker in your hand??

I stole some Manischewitz wine from a parked car as a child once, I'm pretty sure I had a great time. Cigars too. They were kinda nasty though as I recall.

I do not drink any national beer from any brewer that makes more than 100 kegs a year.
That was taken at a little brew house in Denver.
Excellent stuff for sure.
And will be going back for more the end of this month.
Try other ones, son has probably visited all of them and said to me (pisses my wife off), heck let's spend a few days hitting as many as possible.

I remember when Near Beer came onto the market, I believe I was about 13 years old. Those were the days ey. The Jackson's ABC on the AM radio, nuns losing their habits, was a great time.

Any mention of Billy Beer still evokes a guffaw from the caverns of my innards. Now that people realize that they're not worth anything they will dispose of them and then suddenly become collector's items. The free market can do anything.

Check ebay.
Billy beer so far is not moving up in price at all.
Now is the time to buy a bunch of cans, while this cheap.

Atom

I'm not positive but I think that too much Billy Beer was produced for it to become valuable anytime soon.

Pappy Van Winkle’s Family Reserve 23 Year Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey on the other hand, that's a winner I think.

Then there are the two limited brewed beers I have in the closet.
Been there 2 years now.
One is number 337 of 480 bottles brewed.
These are like 24 ounce bottles and 10% APV.
Good stuff really.
Going to find out one day what happens when one stores them for a few years.

I've seen a value as high as $10,000 for a bottle of the Pappy Van Winkle’s Family Reserve, god knows why, it's crazy really, but I suppose the rich have got to spend their money on something outside the realm of common luxuries.

Yes, seeing that one can get a 2,000 year old Roman coin for about $10 - $15 I suppose the future of Billy Beer cans doesn't look too bright. Damn.

Prices of some whiskeys and scotches are so far up the money scale, it is unreal.
Saw on tv one time some bar had some bottles actually locked up.
As a shot was like 5 grand or more a pop!
And wine?
Unreal that people will spend a few million for some bottle from 200 years ago.
