Hi all, I hope you're well.

Welcome to BTWIMHO.COM!
How did you hear about us?
Strongy told me!

What are your interests?
Ooh, highbrow, I'm very highbrow - I prefer getting drunk on wine rather than grain-based prducts, for example.

How long have you been using the internet and forums?
Internet, about 15 years maybe, forums about 11 years.

Thank you for taking part in this interview, Rankenstein. We appreciate your time and effort and we look forward to getting to know you.
Enjoy the forums!
Why, thank you! I'm very pleased to be here.

If I didn't know any better, I'd swear we were being overrun with Brits.

Not that that's a bad thing. :sqwink:

Good to see you around these parts, Dude.
We need more rational thinkers to balance the rest of us out.

Take Strongy, for example.... :sqerr:

Strong
12-11-2009, 09:15 AM
Hey now! See-saws are no fun! I reckon if we are all on the wrong side of rational, she'll spin faster

Rankenstein
12-11-2009, 09:15 AM
Hi Zap, Strongy! Anyway, Canadians are Brits too? Don't you have to offer up your firstborn to the Queen or something? Or has that stopped now? I know you worship her on your money, just like we do. What was that about rational?

Zap
12-11-2009, 09:26 AM
She's on our money, but that's only because we like her face. :sqerr:

We do have Queen's representatives in our government, here, but, oddly enough, they do even less than the government, if you can believe it.
(And you guys seem to be missing a Prince who would be King at the moment. Please take him back.)

Rank! We didn't want to just brazenly recruit certain people and risk the appearance of brazenly recruiting certain people so Zap, Strongy and I have been holding hands every Wednesday night, closing our eyes really really tight and sending out come hither vibes from atop a mystical framework that Zap built in his backyard. I'm delighted that our messages finally made it to you! Great to have you here! The fun comes in tons and keep your eye on Cry...she's a hotty.

BTW, isn't Britain the seat of civilization? I thought the Crescent Valley was in Manchester...

I wondered what that was. I just thought it was my phone on vibrate.

Common misconception. We just used to rule the world, so naturally people thought we started it off but not true, not true. Manchester is in a valley though, so there may be something in what you say.

Meat eating is apparently one of the major things that allowed the relatively rapid progression of homo sapiens from lower apes.

In other words, if you are a vegetarian, you are progressing backwards. You are becoming less human.

Meat eating facilitates a large brain size to body ratio, which humans possess the largest of.

Atom

Actually, it doesn't have to be meat these days, but meat is what was responsible for the support of a high brain size to body weight ratio in early humans and was what was readily available.

I read somewhere that fish is the best brain food, sorry. Some study or other found that those that lived near the coast and ate seafood tended to have higher IQs than the general population. Testament to this is that most civilisations have started up near the sea. This maybe as much to do with transportation and exploration though.

Further to this is the whole Amiga 3 oils debate. Human brains have vast amounts of it. The best source of Amiga 3 oils is seafood, although there is some grain that you can get it from as well, but it is not as rich a source.

Chicken has the same amount of protein, 7 grams per ounce, as beef...but lower in fat and calories as a general rule. Yellowfin tuna is the only fish I can see that has more, at 8 grams per ounce. Pork is right around 6 grams per ounce. Beans come in at 7-10 grams per half cup. Add rice to beans, and you have a complete protein, and probably your leanest and highest per volume.
