Kitchen scraps and peelings, leaves, grass cuttings, plant prunings and gone over summer bedding can all go into the compost heap to rot down and give you a great gardening resource. Of course we all knew that, and I hope most of you actually have a compost heap in your garden. But did you know that peeing on the compost can help kick start the decaying process and get your compost off to a flying start? Well it can.
So don't be shy, go out there right now and relieve yourself this instant and give your compost the refreshing tonic it needs. But not you ladies apparently! Sorry girls, your pee is just too acidic, men only I'm afraid!

Whew! I was wondering how I was going to stretch my legs far enough over the compost pile...
Good to know I don't have to!

Step ladder?
Personally I'd choose the bathroom and an old milk bottle and not risk the neighbours ogling!

Finally! A use for urine!!
Strong

In the past urine was used for many things, mainly because of the ammonia.
I was going to start a composting heap the other day, but then I thought "Ahhhh. Piss on it.".

Well we all have to do it, so why not make it work for you. Recycle!

Yes! TV and the movies are constantly recycling! They've led the pack for decades now... let's join in!!
In the past urine was used for many things, mainly because of the ammonia. That I didn't know. I just hope they found a way to deodorize it first.

Who are the people in India who drink urine? I forget their name, but they claim it has healing properties... urine is sterile after all...
Anyone here ever drink urine? Don't be shy...
I haven't but I've heard it's salty, or is that sperm, I don't remember which.

You probably heard about the urine-sperm cocktail... very salty so I've heard... a delicacy in the rust belt... I heard that from a Bob Evans waitress...
I had to look Bob Evans up, I haven't heard of that chain, rust belt too, Northern New Englander, you know.
totally OT
I probably should do something fruitful but to heck with it.
I do think that composting can be fun for the whole family though, let me just say that. We've got to repair our families. Let's get composting, shall we?
Seriously though, I'm sure I would have never turned out as messed up as I did had my family composted. I'm almost sure of it. It's a wholesome activity, let's face it. So whattaya say guys.
My mom as I recall did in fact keep a compost pile though for a while there back when we were young, I think that was right around the time of her wheat germ kick.

Bob Evans has some of the most artery-clogging food that's legally available... there are none in my area, but I often stop at least once when I'm driving through the upper midwest (Michigan, Illinois).

I forget what they are called, but there is a thing for cow urine and even elephant urine I think. They claim medicinal benefits and that they have purified and deodorised the stuff, but I'm not convinced.
There is also people selling lion dung to keep cats from fouling your garden. Collected from Zoos apparently. The scent of the dung indicates to your typical home grown tabby that a monstrous predator is in the area, so it better not advertise its presence and keep it's shit to itself, or there will be hell to pay!
It's amazing what shit you can find out in the real world. :3wink:

I'm thinking of a home use for tiger dung... will keep the cat and unwanted members of your extended family out of your house... butts make amazing things...
