I'll be going upstate this weekend for a romantic evening with a neutered cat. Wish me luck.

Hello, Jello. May I take your order? Only if you pay for it. So.... .. . you DO go all the way? I resemble that remark. Have you considered a job in concrete? Not lately. Are you sure you're in the right thread? Certainly not, and I'll thank you to keep your peas and ques to yourself.

Is there a forum on the internet with any sane people? I reckon I'll only require three or four.

Well you've come to the right place then, and we even have concession stands. Thank you, Jesus.

Don't thank me, thank your hairdresser.

    I don't have a hairdresser.

Don't lie to me boy ...

    You suck donkey dick.

    You can't prove that.

I wasn't into her type of music, but I know she had a great voice and plenty of talent.

I was just reading some KR And The First Edition stuff in Wiki and apparently the song was about the dangers of LSD. I used to think it was about the exact opposite around the time it came out. lol

I saw KR live at my state fair in the sixties. They were good but I thought Sam The Sham And The Pharaohs were more interesting. Not sure why. STSATP opened for KR. It's hard to remember stuff that far back, but I do remember that.

The lyrics not being clear may have had something to do with it, but I was never really a lyric guy so I'm not sure it would've made any difference. Today I know that KRATFE was clearly the better band, but I just didn't see that back then.

The acoustics were of course atrocious for both bands, as it was an outdoor grand stand. Basically just a bunch of bleachers with a roof. Also, the sixties wasn't exactly the decade of great audio advancements.

The stage was situated on the inner edge of a race track and the seating on the outer edge.

Some swear by the rich sound of the old tube amps, but I think that audio has progressed beyond even that.

It's like, yes, the tube amps did have a unique sound, but no more unique than the myriad radical sounds of the synthetic present.

The sound of the old tube amps may not be duplicated by solid state (semiconductor) electronics, but the same can also be said in the reverse. Semiconductor electronics made it possible to create totally unique sounds that would not be possible to duplicate with simple vacuum tube amps.

I've done about 8 or 9 so far I think. Not to worry though, I'm on the side of the tolerance curve where I should be way drunker than I actually am.

I'll bet y'all can't wait till you're retired like me. You get up, have a coffee, then start doing non-stop shots of liquor. What could be more fun than that? Ok ok, I know I didn't mention anything about the horrible hangovers, but I hate to be too much of a killjoy.
