I'll leave you all to stew over that quote from Sponge Bob!

My friends in the Navy subject me to a lot of pier pressure.

Oh... are we still on vegetables... a million pardons...

Yes. So you must have meant your friends in the Navy in wheelchairs.

You two have me lost like an ant in a termite mound! I was okay with the Japanese mushrooms then I don't know what happened?

I'd just like to say at this point that as a child going to the dentist was quite an experience. The receptionist/assistant always referred to me as Master Strong (name changed due to cuts). But it occurred to me that it was a good thing my name wasn't the same as that guy in Psycho, cos then she would have called me ...

Yes, well, a friend of mine went to a High School of much higher quality than my own (no resentment) and their musical director had the unfortunate name of "Mr. Bates." Well, since he was a maestro people did call him and even introduce him as "Master Bates" even though it would reduce the crowd to floor groping nearly asphyxiating laughter... adults too... maybe he thought it was funny, too... it never seemed to phase him...

A tutor of mine was called Richard Hunter. He called himself Dick Hunter. It was amusing for about half a minute, then you just accept it. With a name like that you kind of have to embrace it. Either that or forever hang your head.

This thread has taken a few interesting turns.

I still miss everyone, by the way...

I also miss the days of prank phone calls... now forever destroyed by technology in the parts of the world where people have the time and resources to care... No more calling random girls that you like but know they would never give you the time of day... no more calling the jerk you hate and want to insult but who could rip you in two with his small toe... no more calling the local drug store and asking for Dad's root beer back... everything is traceable now... oh well... I still have memories...

    Well stop it!

Jerry Seinfeld, allegedly, wrote a book composed of fake complaints he wrote to various companies. I've got the book somewhere. They were hilarious!

Well doing a quick search, I found this which says it was actually Barry Marder, ex-writer on Seinfeld, that actually wrote the books, Letters from a Nut by Ted L. Nancy.

Larry David of course being a prime example. He was one of the writers behind Seinfeld. I heard it was a small team, but I wouldn't bet my underwear on it, but then who would bet their underwear, that's just ridiculous, but strip poker is played throughout the world, at least I hear it is, no one has invited me to a game, in which case I could legitimately bet my underwear. I'm sure you can tell I'm not very good at betting.

I've been working through the Khan Academy vids on probability! Betting is a mugs game, as is playing the lottery. But then again, life on Earth exists. It is all very confusing. I've decided to keep the shirt on my back, and my pants.
