We're starting to get a lot of spammers lately, so I've turned new registrations off for the time being.
May just leave it off, being the super friendly guy that I am. LOL!

Users?!??!!? We don't need to stinkin' users!!!!!!!!!!!!
Keep up the good work!![]()
I'm with you. It's gotten so bad that all registrations have to be manually approved on my boards. I check the user name, email address, and IP to see if looks suspicious. They only get to the manual approval list after they pass all the automated checks - Stop Forum Spam, Akismet, etc.
If you ever want to upgrade to a more modern software (ahem XenForo) I have a license I'm willing to donate to the cause.![]()
The internet is overrun with spammers and scammers.
Good call on shutting off registration.
I never see any new members anyways.
I was wondering about all the new users.

So Zap?!? I imagine that if a genuine new user wanted to join they would have to contact you first and you would be able to arrange it?
