I'm a bit surprised that majorly is a word, but it is. I'm sorry.

Were you in the room when it happened? That would freak me the hell out. And what about aftershocks? Are you feeling anything?
We were in the room lying down and the whole building started swaying back and forth. It was pretty wild.
Havenít had any noticeable after shocks yet.

I'd like to apologize for the entire English language at this time. Majorly? Really? I'm not sure what it takes to be a lexicographer but I'll assume a lot.

You may not be close enough to the epicenter. I heard there was quite a few aftershocks. I'm not even sure where the epicenter was. I think I remember reading that the initial quake could be felt 100 miles away.

    Oh. We were pretty close.

I’m in Acapulco about 200 miles from the epicenter.

Damn, you were close. Take a walk up/down the stairs and look for cracks in the walls. If you see any, get the hell out of there.

No but seriously, I've had so many shots today that I actually lost count. You must have freaked out when you felt the building sway, didn't you? Did everyone pile out onto the street?

I believe they said it was 16 miles deep. I'm not sure how good or bad that is.

That meteor that exploded over Russia not too long ago was serious business, I doubt very many people realize that. It's going to happen again but scientists don't know when. Great. Honey? Can you mix me up another Manhattan please? Thanks.

There were no disruptions in water or plumbing throughout the building, so I’m taking that as a good sign structurally.
But being 16 floors up, we certainly felt the sway. It was almost a meter back and forth and that lasted for a good 20 seconds or so. I could hear the water in the pipes in the ceiling sloshing around.

As a funny aside, the earthquake happened about 15 minutes before Ron Paul’s speech.

It was felt over 200 miles away from the epicenter. I think I said 100 earlier, not sure where I got that. I was just looking at weather.com and see that a helicopter that was surveying the damage crashed killing 13 people on the ground. Damn. The weather site seems to have some pretty good videos of when the quake happened.

That sounds like some kind of omen. Do Anarchists believe in omens? lol

What did you think of the speech? Was it a good one?

Zap, I was just looking up the word Anarchist in dictionary dot com and I'm wondering if you agree with the five definitions.

Most of the definitions there are absolute fearmongering horseshit. They attempt to mix anarchy with violence.
The true definition of anarchy is very simple.
To be an anarchist is to have no rulers, nobody ruling over you and you not ruling over anyone else.
By definition, when I commit violence against you or your property, I seek to rule over you, which is NOT anarchism.
It’s basically a live and let live approach where nobody uses violence against anyone else unless in self defense against aggression.
