I've learned to look at bats in a whole new light thanks to television. TV is interesting because you get to see what they want you to see, and you even get to choose what channels to watch. I suppose the big question is who is they, but I suppose it doesn't really matter as long as you enjoy watching the shit.

Please do not fuck with me, I will consume your tissues like an insect if necessary.

    Just kidding.

Sure, I've had a few drinks. I wish I was as astute as you.

My life can perhaps be summed up in one statement, I'm a smoker. I love certain kinds of smoke. Other than that I think that smoke is a terrible thing. There's nothing like good fresh air eh.

Death and destruction to all. Other than that I think it's a wonderful life.

I'm seeing double at this time as I've been doing shots of whiskey, but I still have to wonder how much of it can be contributed to my ancient eyeglasses prescription.

Eyesight changes with age and eyeglass prescriptions must be adjusted every couple of years. I'm unfortunately still using eyeglasses with a prescription that is about 12 years old. I suppose I'll need to schedule an appointment with an optometrist pretty soon.

I've been very lucky with my eyes.
I'm over 50 now and haven't needed glasses yet, although I am very close, I suspect.
And, I've been staring at computer screens most of my life.

I set my wallpapers and themes to a dark theme with the thought that less white pixels may preserve what little vision I am holding on to.
    Don't know if that's played a role.

The cause is due to elongation and shrinkage of the eyeball sphere from what I understand. It's a very common thing that happens with age but doesn't happen to everyone.

I've talked about this in the past, Zap, I know, and I never really did anything about it - but how old can a person be before Canadian businesses won't take them? Or does it completely depend on the job?

I know y'all have been under a lot of stress with the climate change and all, but that is no reason to clam up. We'll get through it. Does anyone know if they sell boats with storm shelters?

At the opening of each episode of The Rifleman, Chuck Conners a.k.a. Lucas McCain does a 13 shot rapid-fire with his lever action rifle. I reckon he must have been quite mad at someone as the targets are not shown. I can tell he was shooting at someone though, by the look on his face. People don't generally make faces like that when target shooting.

I love all the old westerns. What tickles me is how different society has become as compared to back then. To me they are basically a reference as to how stupid we used to be. Some might think they were right back then and we are now wrong, but I don't really believe that, despite nuclear weapons and such. I'm not really convinced that people were better off being dumb as shit.

There are times when the old westerns make a lot of sense, but I feel it is not quite enough to justify the glaring general ignorance.

Charlie's Angels is on now. For you millennials, that was back in the day when you could make out the nipples through the clothing.

On Leave It To Beaver, Wally and Beaver actually had some of the funniest lines on television to date, barring Family Guy of course.
