I know that either pronunciation is correct according to dictionary dot com but I think it's just common sense to steer clear of the ones using the hillbilly version.

I think that Festus on Gunsmoke has some of the funniest English grammar butchering lines on TV. Luckily he couldn't read or write or he could've turned out to be a lawyer.

What's happened to kids these days? Most of them seem kinda gay. Not that there's anything wrong with that but I'm just sayin'.

Oh well. I'm sure it's got something to do with old age. Has anyone else here ever been to a garden party or am I the only one?

People used to worry about simply surviving, now we just worry about navigating the system.

Halloween is coming soon. You can get a lot of candy if you do it right. You'll need a dedicated driver of course, among other things as not yet mentioned.

I have a serious question. How come in American TV westerns they only wrap the horse's lead line loosely around the hitching rail? Couldn't the animal get away by simply pulling hard enough? What is the deal with that?

Perhaps it's got something to do with the horse's loyalty to the rider?
