The "hippie" music they created for that show was out of this world.

Some old woman on Bonanza just said; a chicken thief ain't no better than an egg suckin' dog. Now that is some good stuff right there.

You know when people leave you old stuff and you think it must be worth a bundle? Well, I've been around long enough to know, or I at least should know, that such things are almost never worth anything more than a spot of squat. A now long passed relative left me about $100 worth of old $1 and $2 bills dating all the way from the 1930s through the 1970s. I thought - they must at least be worth more than face value surely? Well, they're not. A $1 bill dated 1935 is pretty much worth $1 today (unless it's an error or a "star note"). Though it of course had a lot more spending power back in 1935, so saving it for all this time has actually decimated it's value. Obliterated it. Hashed it to little bits. So I have a pile of bills that, had the person not held on to them, they would have bought them much more in their day then they will buy me now. $100 was worth quite a bit more even in 1977. These bills are older. $1 in 1935? That must have been a decent amount of money back then. They even had little notices that you could trade them in for silver. Now, 85 years later, it's worth a 2020 $1. Wow. So do I just spend them? Keep them? Cash them in? They're definitely not getting any more valuable.

I reckon wall paper is cheaper, so I guess we'll need to think of something else. I was thinking you could perhaps redo the pantry if you had enough of them.

Other people is all we have. It's pretty hard to have deep conversations with dogs.

Why must we always suppose we're insinuating something? Can't we all just post a bunch of off the top of our heads crap? That's what I generally do and it's kinda fun. Some of it even makes sense but I think that's just a coincidence.

I was thinking gift wrapping paper as well, but I think that's probably also cheaper than using two dollar bills. Don't worry, Ed, we'll think of something.

Bejaggled is a word I thought I heard used while watching an old TV western, and if not, all the better, that could mean I've actually coined a new word.

Ok let me think this through...

we're born, we fuck, then die. Is that pretty much what's going on here?

I tried to have a conversation with a parrot one time but the son of a bitch wouldn't let me get a word in edgewise.

I sometimes wonder if Mississippi stump moss would be a good eBay seller.

Have you considered eBay for those two dollar bills, Ed?

I haven't eaten today because I didn't want to kill my beer buzz, but I'm starting to get kinda hungry now.

It's too bad people have to just keep eating and shitting all the time, seems kinda lame.

And when doctors start telling you it's time for a colonoscopy because you're a certain age, well, that's where I draw the line.
