And what ever happened to the good old days when you simply picked up the receiver and started talking or dialing? Those days are long gone apparently.

I'm not used to that. I'm old and often forget, then wonder why my call isn't going through.

I've been blocking the spammer's calls but it appears they have several different numbers, so I find myself having to block several numbers. I don't mind that much though, it actually feels kinda good.

You can usually determine which numbers are likely spammers by their exchange number.

[Atom]

For example I received a call from someone in Cooksville Tennessee according to the exchange number, but I don't know anyone from Cooksville TN and was not expecting a call from anyone there, so they get blocked.

I'm not completely stupid just because I'm old. In fact ain't that supposed to work the other way around?

You gotta watch them old people, most of them know stuff beyond your comprehension.

Shit, when I was young, I had no fucking idea. I thought old people complained a lot just because they were old.

I can tell you what it's like to be old, but you won't believe me if you are too young and will just shrug it off.

Being old is a hard thing to imagine if you're not there yet.
